We have an exciting new opportunity in our team for a Graduate Hydrologist to assist the hydrology science team in building capacity in fulfilling Councils statutory obligations under the National Policy Statement Freshwater Management (NPSFM).
The primary purpose of the role is to assist in investigations, analysing, and reporting on hydrological and climatic data for state of the environment, policy making and assisting in flood forecasting.

Our ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:
A desire to build a successful career in this discipline.
Knowledge of environmental data collection methods and technology.
Strong numerical, written and oral communication skills.
Strong IT skills including an ability in data analysis and an appreciation for modelling.
You will also be studying towards or have a relevant degree or post graduate qualification with a focus on natural or physical sciences, data science or engineering hydrology.
