Hydrology Technician

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented person to join our growing Hydrology team. As a Hydrology Technician, you will play a crucial role in collecting, analysing, and interpreting hydrological data to support our water resource and flood management efforts. Your work will contribute directly to understanding and managing water-related challenges on the West Coast.

Working alongside our Resource Scientists you will have the opportunity to experience the spectacular surroundings of the West Coast Region while undertaking regular site visits to our rainfall, water quality, and flood monitoring sites.

To succeed in this position, you will be capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment. Strong observational skills, and attention to detail to accurately collect and record data will be paramount. Your ability to troubleshoot equipment issues, analyse data discrepancies, and propose solutions will be regularly utilised. Most importantly, a sense of humour and quality banter will help you survive those wetter West Coast days.
