About the role
Stantec is a world leader in environmental management, 3 waters infrastructure, asset management, transportation, energy and technology.
This role will see you providing support to project managers, team leaders and environmental scientists by undertaking research, field investigations, data analysis, modelling and preparation of reports.
Day to day tasks would involve:
Assisting with hydrogeological investigations, field sampling, modelling and analysis of data as required
Assisting with project proposals and tenders
Assisting with communication and development of ongoing contacts with clients as required.
Traveling as may be necessary for field investigations and site visits.
To be successful for this role you'll need:
A minimum of a Bachelors’ Degree in Hydrogeology, Engineering Geology or Earth/Environmental Science (a Masters’ Degree of PhD is desirable but not required)
A minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in consulting, government or industry with specialist skills in hydrogeology and generalist experience in environmental management and sustainability is preferred.
Willing to work in the outdoors as required to support field work.
Candidates with less than 3 years’ experience can apply and will be considered on their individual merits.
