HYDROLOGY TECHNICIAN – CASUAL

A permanent position has become available within our phenomenal hydrology team. Working alongside our Resource Scientists and Hydrological Technicians you will have the opportunity to experience the spectacular surroundings of the West Coast Region whilst undertaking regular site visits to our monitoring sites.
To succeed in this position you are likely to be right at home working in and around rivers with loggers and sensors, and in the office working with databases, data entry, and quality coding and hydrology software. The successful applicant will also likely have experience in civil works as well as a mind for or interest in electrical and mechanical repairs and installation.
These skills will be paired with your excellent communication and planning skills and a willingness to learn about technical hydrology. An eye for detail and a can-do attitude are essential, along with a great sense of humour.
